Michael Joseph

B.S. Justice and Law Administration: Criminology, Western Connecticut State University

When asked why she chose to teach at CLA, Mr. Joseph said, “Christian education provides students with a solid foundation, not just academically, but also spiritually, socially, and emotionally. A Biblical worldview in education shows students why the world is the way it is and the role that we play in it. It shows how we fit into the broader picture and how much God provides for us. Ultimately, it gives a basis to greater success later in life.

When asked why she chose to teach at CLA, Mrs. Wathley said, “I believe in Christian education because in the ever-changing world we live in today, it’s important to remember for ourselves, and teach the new generations, who God has called us to be, spread the gospel, and show God’s love through our words and actions.

I have been called to teach at CLA and I am so blessed that the Lord has brought me here. It has been the biggest blessing for my family. Not only do I get to openly speak about Jesus, but I know that my children will be getting a well-rounded, faith based education as well.”

Favorite Scripture: “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans 12:2

Stephanie Annunziato

BA Early Childhood Education, Nyack College

When asked why she chose to teach at CLA, Mrs. Annunziato said, After graduating, I knew I wanted to teach in a Christian school so I would have the freedom to teach about God’s love for us. Christian education can help students become confident in their identity, bear the image of God, and develop a strong understanding of how biblical truth influences all area of their lives.

I want to help prepare children for their future, reach their goals in life, and instill Christian values in each one. It is a joy to teach children about the world God created, how our faith is woven into each area of learning, and how to find purpose and meaning through God’s Will for our life.”

Favorite Scripture:  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
